🔹 Outside Priests allowed in Devasthan with $500 fees
🔹 Approved Decoration Vendors must pay $250 to SFHT

1. What are the hall rental charges?

  • Non-wedding events (up to 250 guests): $2,200 for 4 hours
  • More than 250 guests: $3,000 for 4 hours
  • Weddings (50–250 guests): $3,000 for 4 hours
  • Weddings (250+ guests): $3,500 for 4 hours
  • Additional hour: $200

2. What is included in the rental?

  • Cleaning

3. What is the payment schedule?

  • 50% due at booking
  • Remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to the event

4. Is there a deposit?

  • $200 deposit required
  • The deposit is non-refundable

5. What is the cancellation policy?

  • 12 months prior: 20% of total cost
  • 6 months prior: 30%
  • 3 months prior: 40%
  • 1 month prior: 50%

6. Are outside vendors allowed?

Yes, subject to the following:

  • Decorators: $250 fee
  • Food vendors: $2 per person + insurance required

7. Is catering available at the temple?

Yes. Catering packages are available (approx. $1,251–$2,500 depending on menu and guest count).

  • Outside food is not permitted if temple catering is selected

8. Are there additional mandatory charges?

For events with 200+ guests:

  • Security: $50/hour
  • Parking attendant: $100

9. What are the key restrictions?

  • No alcohol, meat, garlic, onions, or smoking
  • Only religious music is permitted
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • All events must conclude by 9:00 PM

10. What are the priest service options?

  • Temple priest services available (starting at $500, depending on puja)
  • Outside priests are permitted with a $500 fee

11. Is kitchen usage allowed?

  • Kitchen rental: $200
  • Cooking is permitted only in the designated kitchen area

12. What additional rental options are available?

  • Cleaning service: $300
  • Stage back room: $200
  • Back home rental: $300

13. Who is responsible for damages?

  • The renter is responsible for any damages
  • SFHT is not liable for loss or damage to personal property

14. Are there time restrictions for booking?

  • No rentals on Sunday mornings (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • All bookings are subject to temple schedule and board approval

15. Do renters need to clean after the event?

  • Cleaning is included
  • Renters must follow all guidelines to avoid additional charges

16. Is hall setup included?

  • Chairs and tables are provided
  • Setup and removal may be the renter’s responsibility depending on the event

17. How do I book the hall?

  • Submit the application form
  • Provide event details and guest count
  • Obtain committee approval

18. Is mandap or décor provided?

  • The temple does not provide mandap setup
  • Approved decorators may be used (fees apply)

19. Is photography/videography allowed?

  • Yes, photography and videography are permitted
  • Photography of deities and inside the sanctum is strictly prohibited

20. Are private rooms available for getting ready?
